More About Chef Coco 

At the heart of my culinary philosophy is a belief that food is more than a meal—it’s an experience that connects people, tells stories, and creates lasting memories. I founded my private chef company with one vision in mind: to bring families and friends together around the table, where conversation flows, stories are shared, and every bite celebrates the abundance of Hawai‘i.

 

My journey began years ago, when I left a demanding corporate career and found myself on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, cooking at a retreat center set deep in the jungle. There, surrounded by 120 acres of organic gardens and orchards, I reconnected with food in its purest form—fresh, seasonal, and full of vitality. Working hand-in-hand with local farmers, fishermen, and a dedicated permaculture team, I developed not only a reverence for the land and sea, but also an approach to cooking that blends nourishment with artistry, intention with aloha.

 

That foundation continues to guide everything we create today. From intimate multi-course dinners to elegant wedding receptions and large-scale celebrations, our menus are designed to highlight the best of Hawai‘i’s harvest—vivid flavors, vibrant colors, and exquisite presentations. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to be both refined and approachable, rooted in local ingredients while tailored to the unique preferences and dietary styles of our clients.

 

Beyond the food, what truly sets us apart is the experience we create. We believe in the power of gathering—of slowing down, sharing stories, and savoring the moment. Whether it’s a family reconnecting during vacation, a wedding party celebrating love, or a friends bonding over meals, our mission is always the same: to foster connection through food.
